Box Clever Project
For the Box Clever brief, we had to assemble a small collection of objects that we found visually interesting. These couldn't be completely random, but they had to have some kind of a over-arching theme. My collection was based on objects that I have collected/hoarded over the years that have no practical use. Among the useless, broken or valueless, objects in my collection were a collection of moth wings inside a grand piano ornament, a smashed photographic slide, a set of old flashbulbs, a blown bulb, a Jamaican $20 note worth practically nothing, a broken stopwatch, dried flower heads, a horse chestnut husk and some clay marbles and mystery little carved wooden objects in a jar.
I tried to have a mixture of both organic and non-organic objects in order to have a varied source of inspiration for all the different technical blocks.
